Washington Heights Children's Health Festival - 2006 and 2007
Union Foundation was a sponsor the Washington Heights Children's Health Festival in 2006 and 2007. Members of the foundation volunteered all day to support children's health. Washington Heights festival features face painting, clowns, pony rides, arts and crafts, popcorn, and games.
This FREE festival held in Upper Manhattan is the largest Latino Family Health event in the country. The festival features face painting, clowns pony rides, arts and crafts, popcorn and games. Over 400,000 were in attendance with 15 major health providers present.
Roberto Clemente Park Series 2007
The Union Foundation along with the Phi Iota Alpha, White Rose Grocery's Good Neighbor Program, Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc., New York City Council Member Joel Rivera, 5 Star Events, and Emerging Artist USA, are proud sponsors of Roberto Clemente State Park's 10th Annual Summer Concert Series "Rockin' on the Harlem River."
Concerts start on July 4th and run every Saturday till Labor Day, Different styles of music and artist every week from 2PM - 5PM
75th Anniversary Banquet of Phi Iota Alpha 2007
The fraternity graciously allowed the entire event to be used as the launch event for the Union Foundation's annual appeal. This landmark event was the foundation to firmly establish the Union Foundation as one of the premier philanthropic bodies for Latinos. The funds raised by this event will support all initiatives in our first year of operation. All funds raised will go directly to the implementation of the foundation's programming and to supporting the diligent work of our volunteers.
