The foundation is an initiative designed to impact the lives of Latino communities in the areas of education, economic development, and social progress. The Union Foundation, a private, charitable non-profit organization, was created in order to increase the graduation rate of Latinos in higher education and to spread the word to younger Latino students about the importance of college. Over the next several years the Union Foundation plans to award thousands of supporting grants and scholarships across the nation.
Meeting this end will be accomplished through the financial support of existing organizations that are committed to educational advancement among Latinos, providing selective scholarships and grants to Latinos in college, as well the creation of new programs and services for high-achieving Latinos nationwide.
As an IRS-designated public charity, your charitable contribution to the Union Foundation is entirely tax-deductible to the extent allowed by section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code.
